Halloween 2008!

A little late. I know.

This year we dressed Bostyn up as a Bumble Bee. We attended my Brother's Ward carnival the Saturday before Halloween and a family party at Derek's grandparent's house the Monday before. We carved our pumpkin at Erin and Shane's house the night before and had a very low key Halloween night. I'm looking forward to next year when Derek will let Bostyn Trick-or-Treat. I was up for it this year but Derek thought everyone would think we were just trying to get candy for ourselves! Silly. We ended up sitting on the porch passing out candy to all the neighborhood kids then taking Bostyn on a walk to see all the scary Halloween houses.

Bostyn coloring at a Ward Carnival. It was the only activity she was old enough to do!

Bostyn and Kinley jumping on the trampoline while the dad's carved pumpkins.

Bostyn liked to brace herself on all fours while Kinley 'bounced' her.

The Winters' Boys picture is very "looking into the future" how touching.

Except Cooper...he looks like someone is about to stick an apple in his mouth and put him in a roasting pan!

derek's right, although i wanted to take alexis trick or treating when she was just one, but my hubby also said that was stupid, and it does bother me when parents came up to our door with their babies in a stoller begging for candy, when the kid clearly has no teeth. how annoying!
